"What Kind Of Daddy Do You Have?" by Bro. Bo Sanchez

A college student in Manila called up his Mom in the province.
“Mom, I need money,” he asked. “Can you send money over please?”
“Sure,” the mother said. “By the way, there’s a Math textbook you left here at home. I’ll send it over with the money.”
“Uh, oh yeah, Ok,” her son answered.
His mother sent the money and the book.
Later that day, the father asked his wife, “How much money did you send?”
She said, “I sent two checks. One was a P1000 check and the other was a P100,000 check.”
“What?” cried the father in shock. “That’s huge!”
His wife smiled. “That’s okay Honey. I taped the P1000 check on the cover of his Math textbook. I then inserted the P100,000 check somewhere in chapter 25 of his Math textbook. Believe me, he won’t find it.”
Your relationship with God is like a Math textbook. Because I believe the biggest blessings of God for your life are in “chapter 25”—when you go beyond the surface and go deeper in this relationship with God.
My goal today is to bring you to chapter 25 in your relationship with God.
Let me tell you how.

SAINT HYACINTH

Missionary Preacher and Thaumaturge

(†1257)

Saint Hyacinth, named the glorious Apostle of the North, was born of noble parents in Poland, about the year 1185. In 1218, as a Canon of Cracow he accompanied the bishop of that region to Rome. There he met Saint Dominic and soon afterward was one of the first to receive the habit of the Friar Preachers, in a group clothed by the patriarch himself. He became a living copy of his dear master. The church was his only chamber, and the ground his only bed. So wonderful was his progress in virtue that within a year Dominic sent him with a small group to preach and plant the Order in Poland, where he founded two houses.

Jam-packed The Feast!!!

Yesterday, I was so lucky and feel blessed for having a chance to be able to take a picture with Bro. Bo Sanchez. This guy that i admired most for his books and talks that gives his followers (including me) an inspirational insight about spiritual and financial aspects of life!

It was so amazing how this guy influenced many lives especially of those people in "the Feast". Every week, there's always numbers of new "outsiders" coming at The Feast at Valle Verde Country Club at Pasig City.

And I think that yesterday was the most jam-packed sunday because the at the end of the session, when Bro. Bo called all the first timer to come in the front of the stage for them to be personally greeted by him (as what he was always doing), I was surprised that the space of the front stage was not enough to the number of the first timers!!! Whooa!!!

I will never be surprised if one Sunday, the Feast will be celebrated in a bigger venue!!! I believe in God's grace that it will happen!

"Do You Want A Life Of Abundance?" by Bo Sanchez

I’m terrible when it comes to picking gifts for my wife.

The first gift I gave her was a dress.

When I saw it, I thought it was beautiful. But when I gave it to her, I learned again the truth that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Because she said, “Oh Bo, I love you for giving me a dress. Thank you so much. But I suggest you stick to preaching. Your fashion sense is awful.”

I pouted, “You mean you won’t wear the dress?”

She smiled. “If I become suddenly suicidal, perhaps. In other words, I won’t be caught alive wearing that thing.”

But last month, I hit the jackpot. I finally bought her a birthday gift she really adored.

I bought her a book. But it was no ordinary book.

It was a gigantic 1000 page book containing beautifully stunning pictures of the most gorgeous places all over the world. She loved the book because I wrote on the first page, “Sweets, when our kids are grown up, I’ll bring you to these places.”

She loved the book because it wasn’t just a book. It was a promise. I promised, “I’ll grow old with you. I’ll stay with you forever. I’ll love you forever.” Because I wasn’t really giving a book. I was really giving myself.

My marriage is abundant because these past 11 years, I’ve been giving my time, effort, attention, and energy to my marriage.

Here’s what I learned: Life is not one bucket.

How Generosity Brings You Closer To Your Abundance?

G FORCE:
How Generosity will prosper your Life?

Luke 6:38
"Give to others, and God will give to you. Indeed, you will receive a full measure, a generous helping, poured into your hands - all that you can hold. The measure you use for others is the one that God will use for you."

Matthew 6:33
"Instead, be concerned above everything else with the Kingdom of God, and with what he requires of you, and he will provide you with all these other things".

Insight:
It's a Law of the universe: What you give, you receive. And what you receive, you receive so much more than what you gave. If this were so, why do we get discouraged in our giving and our receiving, there is a delay. We need to be patient with that season of delay. We need to trust that at the end, God will vindicate our giving with abundance.

2 Corinthians 9:8
And God is able to give you more than you need, so that you will always have all you need for yourselves and more than enough for every cause.

2 Corinthians 9:11
He will always make you rich enough to be generous at all times, so that many will thank God for your gifts which they receive from us.

Insight:
When you plant in generosity, you'll harvest blessings. But part of those blessings, you should plant again. Never forget to do that. Always plant a portion of your blessings, so that the cycle of blessings don't stop. Always remember that when God blesses you, it's so that you can be blessing to the Kingdom.

Bacolod trip

Bacolod City is the capital and largest highly urbanized mid-size Philippine city of the province of Negros Occidental. Having a total of 499,497 inhabitants as of August 1, 2007, it is the most populous city in the Western Visayas Region.[2] It is notable for its MassKara Festival held during October. Known for being a relatively friendly city, it bears the nickname "City of Smiles" and the "Football City of the Philippines". Bacolod City recently topped a survey by MoneySense Magazine as the "Best Place to Live in the Philippines".

The Capitol Park and Lagoon is a provincial park located right in the heart of Bacolod City, Negros Occidental, in the Philippines. One of the landmarks of the park is the carabao (water buffalo) being pulled by a woman. This carabao is located at the northern end of the lagoon. On the other end, there is also another carabao scuplture but the figure is being pulled by a man.

There are several other attractions in the park. These include activities of the locals-jogging, aerobics, school dance rehearsals, promenaders, arnisadors, martial arts practitioners and even the relaxing and therapeutic quiteness of feeding the tilapias of the lagoon. It is well-secured and well-lighted; it is very safe to walk /stroll, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Dumaguete Trip

The City of Dumaguete is a city in the Philippines Province of Negros Oriental. It is the capital, principal seaport, and largest city of the province. According to the 2007 census, it has a population of 116,392 people. A person from Dumaguete is called a "Dumagueteño". The city is nicknamed The City of Gentle People.

Dumaguete is referred to as a university town because of the presence of seven universities and colleges, where students of the province converge to enroll for tertiary education. The city is also a popular educational destination for students of surrounding provinces and cities in Visayas and Mindanao. The city is best known for Silliman University, the country's first Protestant university and the first American university in Asia. There are also 12 elementary schools and 9 high schools. The city's student population is estimated at 30,000.

The city attracts a considerable number of foreign tourists, particularly Europeans, because of easy ferry access from Cebu City, the availability of beach resorts and dive sites, and the attraction of dolphin and whale watching in nearby Bais Bay.
